These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Beriz iOS application and the Papercast macOS application (collectively, the "Apps"), provided by Berij AI LLC ("Berij AI," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.

1. Use of Services

You may use our Apps for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Apps in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Apps.
  • Use the Apps to distribute malware or engage in any malicious activity.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Apps or any content accessed through them.
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Apps in an unauthorized manner.

2. Beriz Subscriptions

Beriz offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Beriz Premium") with the following terms:

  • Pricing: Beriz Premium is available at $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year (saving 33%).
  • Apple In-App Purchase: All subscriptions are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of any subscription period.
  • Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of the trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

The earnings call data, transcripts, AI-generated insights, and all other content provided through Beriz are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice.

You should not make any investment decisions based solely on information obtained from Beriz. Always consult with a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions. Berij AI LLC is not a registered investment advisor and assumes no liability for investment decisions made based on the information provided through Beriz.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Both Beriz and Papercast use artificial intelligence technologies to process and generate content:

  • Beriz: Uses Google Gemini for AI-powered chat insights about earnings calls. AI responses are generated based on transcript data and may contain inaccuracies, misinterpretations, or omissions.
  • Papercast: Uses MinerU for PDF parsing and OpenAI for optional content enrichment. AI-processed content may not perfectly represent the original document.

AI-generated outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free. You should always verify important information from original sources. We are not responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on AI-generated content.

5. Intellectual Property

The Apps, including their design, code, and original content, are the intellectual property of Berij AI LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

  • Earnings Call Content: Earnings call recordings and transcripts accessed through Beriz belong to their respective companies and are provided through third-party data providers. Berij AI does not claim ownership of this content.
  • Academic PDFs: Academic papers processed by Papercast belong to their respective authors and publishers. Papercast processes your documents locally and does not store or redistribute them.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BERIJ AI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Apps.
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
  • Any content or conduct of third parties accessed through the Apps.
  • Financial losses resulting from investment decisions made based on information provided through Beriz.
  • Inaccuracies in AI-generated content in either App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Apps at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Apps will immediately cease.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Texas.
